About Us 

The Validation Centre (TVC) Ltd is a UK based company originally set up to provide high quality products and services for the Welding, Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industries. The Company Directors have over 40 years combined experience in the NDT Equipment industry.

The core of the company's business is now the design and manufacture of Weld Monitoring and Data-Logging Units.

Equipment produced by The Validation Centre (TVC) Ltd include the renowned Arc Logger Ten (ALX) unit, DINSEARCH TM and COLCHECK TM inspection systems. The company also provides solutions for clients who require bespoke systems for data acquisition, monitoring and data logging.

The Validation Centre (TVC) Ltd continues to offer a Traceable Calibration and Repair service for all types of NDT and Inspection Equipment via its ISO9000 accredited Calibration Laboratory.

Quality Policy Statement:

The Validation Centre (TVC) Ltd has developed and implemented a Quality Management System to ensure that the products and services provided by ourselves meet our customer's requirements for quality and consistency.

This policy and supporting procedures have also been developed to satisfy the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

The implementation and development of the Quality System within the Company has our personal commitment and support, and the commitment and support of the staff. All Quality Control related activities are carried out by suitably competent and experienced/trained personnel.

To ensure effectiveness of the Quality System, Internal Quality Audits are performed on a regular basis and the overall system is monitored through annual Management Review meetings between senior members of staff. Also, during these reviews quality objectives are set for the forthcoming year.

The Company endeavours to not only maintain quality standards but has adopted a policy of continual improvement through the internal processes and through monitoring customers responses.

The achievement of the Company's Quality Policy is the responsibility of all personnel who are individually responsible for the quality of their work and to whom this policy statement has been explained. The management will ensure that relevant quality procedures and work instructions are communicated to, understood and adhered to by all personnel.

Kim Hastings, Director/Co-Secretary has the authority and responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System.

This policy is being continually reviewed for its suitability.

Health and Safety Policy Statement

Our statement of general policy is to:

provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;

consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;

provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;

ensure safe handling and use of substances;

provide information and supervision for employees;

ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks and give them adequate training

prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health;

maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and

review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

Environmental Policy Statement

The Validation Centre (TVC) Ltd considers the management of the Environment ranking equally with other primary business objectives for the company with the full responsibility for implementing this policy resting with the Company Directors.

The Company shall implement, wherever practical, Prevention of Pollution objectives which will include the reduction of all discharges and emissions that may have a negative effect on the environment, the introduction of programmes to minimise the production of waste and the implementation of material recycling schemes.

The Company recognises the need for Continous Improvement of our environmental performance and our Environmental Management System (EMS) whereby the policy will be reviewed annually setting the objectives and targets that will be used to measure and review our environmental performance.

The Company shall meet Legal Obligations by ensuring the environmental policy is communicated and understood  by all employees and fellow stakeholders. The environmental policy will be readily available to all employees, the public and any other interested party.

Training and resources will be provided to enable all employees to conduct their duties within the framework of this policy.

The Company goal is to achieve each of these objectives through employee involvement and co-operation, and the efficient use of an Environmental Management System that fully addresses the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001.
