DINSEARCH 6-00

An eddy current device for measuring the thickness of a high resistivity, non magnetic layer that overlays a strongly magnetic material such as carbon steel.

Can be used in pipes, both straight and bent, and on flatter surfaces such as the linings inside tanks and the shells of heat exchangers.

The probe is passed over the surface of the cladding and the meter gives a continuous read-out of the cladding thickness.
