The ALX II RS (Rack System) is the latest addition to TVC’s ALX II range of welding data-logging and monitoring equipment. It is a modular system encompassing the ALX II sensors, interface and high spec data-acquisition in a rugged enclosure but allowing the operator to interface the ALX II to their own Laptop or Desktop PC. The ALX II RS uses the tried and tested ALX II software which allows the user to data-log and monitor all types of Arc welding processes including Pulsed and Waveform Controlled. The unit also complies with the new ASME IX 2010 code for Instantaneous Energy measurement. We believe that the ALX II RS is a cost effective weld monitoring system suitable for use by all areas of the welding inspection and weld development market. The ALX II RS is available to order now and delivery for all orders is within 2-3 weeks.

ASME ix 2010 Code Update - ALXII Pulse Software Complies to the Latest Standard.
Earlier this year the ASME IX Code was re-written and re-issued to take into account Monitoring Welding Procedures when using Pulsed or Waveform Controlled welding Processes. The new code, ASME IX 2010, now indicates that anyone using Pulsed or Waveform Controlled welding processes must now measure the Instantaneous Energy and use this figure divided by the weld length to calculate the Heat Input. The latest version of the ALX II Pulse Measurement Software now has the facility to measure and record the Instantaneous Energy in accordance with the new ASME IX 2010 Code.
