PAMS V (Portable Arc Monitoring System)
Originally manufactured by OIS with the design rights purchased by TVC in 1997. Any user should contact TVC for servicing, calibration and spares.
The PAMS V is a four channel monitor and data-logger capable of quickly, and accurately, acquiring data relating to the main parameters in the arc welding processes.
The system can provide a permanent hard copy of the results or download information on individual weld runs to a PC.
The PAMS V complies the latest British Standards governing the validation of welding equipment.
It can be used for:-
- developing and improving welding procedures
- producing cost analysis of weld consumables
- training and the qualification of welders
- continuous on-line monitoring of production weld programmes.
As can be seen the PAMS V has many benefits, including:-
- better quality control
- more define-able weld integrity
- improved cost - effectiveness of production welding
TVC no longer manufacture the PAMS V, but we do offer a complete repair and recalibration service for this piece of equipment.
